Privacy Policy

Your data is yours. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do — and never do — with it.

What we collect

  • Account information. Your name and email address, handled through our authentication provider when you create an account.
  • The information you enter. The licenses you hold, CEU credits, renewal dates, and professional details you add to track your compliance and build your materials.
  • Files you upload. Documents such as résumés and CEU certificates, so we can read the details and help you reuse them.
  • Basic usage data. Standard, mostly anonymous information about how the app is used, which helps us find bugs and improve it.

How we use it

We use your information to provide TheraPath: to track your CEU progress, remind you about renewals, generate and tailor your documents, and keep your account secure. That's it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

AI processing

Some features — like tailoring a résumé or reading a certificate — use AI. When you use them, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider to produce the result and is returned to you. Your content is not used to train AI models. You're always in control of when these features run.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run TheraPath — for authentication, hosting and our database, and AI processing (for example, Clerk, Vercel, Supabase, and Anthropic). They process data only to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your data or close your account at any time; when you do, we remove your personal information from our active systems promptly, except where we're required to retain something by law.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information. Most of this you can do right inside the app from your profile; for anything else, just email us and we'll take care of it.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest and with access controls scoped to your account. There's more detail on our security page.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and the app working. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

TheraPath is built for licensed and pre-licensed professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above and, for meaningful changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use TheraPath after an update means you accept the revised policy.
